Growing up in Edmonds, Washington, Steve became interested in art at an early age. He graduated from Central Washington State University with a degree in Art Education. Living on Puget Sound and cruising and racing sailboats fostered a deep appreciation of boats from the artists viewpoint. Steve's paintings of the classic boats of the Wooden Boat Marina on Lake Union and in Port Townsend are in collections by boat enthusiasts in the region.. He has exhibited in various one-man and group shows including the Main Street Galleries in Edmonds and Chelan and formally True Northwest Gallery in Kirkland, Wa I have also received various corporate commissions and am in many private collections. Representing Galleries are: Main Street Gallery in Chelan, Wa., The Sidney gallery in Port Orchard as well as the Artists' Edge Art Supply & Custom Framing Stores in Silverdale and Poulsbo, Wa.
